Levy Privacy Policy

Levy ("we", "us") is an invoicing app that lets you create invoices, manage clients, and scan receipts. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Levy you agree to this policy.

Information you provide

• Account: your email address and password (passwords are managed by our authentication provider and stored hashed — we never see them in plain text).
• Business profile: business name, email, phone, address, and logo.
• Clients: the names, emails, and addresses you add for the people or companies you invoice.
• Invoices: line items, amounts, dates, expense categories, notes, and any payment link you add.
• Receipts: photos you capture or upload. These are stored privately under your account and are only accessible to you.

Camera and photo access

Levy requests camera and photo-library access only when you choose to scan a receipt or upload a logo. We do not access your camera or photos in the background or for any other purpose.

How we use your information

• To provide the core service: creating, storing, and syncing your invoices, clients, and receipts across your devices.
• To extract details from a receipt photo (merchant, date, amounts, line items) when you tap "Scan receipt."
• To authenticate you and keep your data secure and private to your account.

Service providers we share data with

We use trusted third parties to run Levy. We share only what's needed for each to do its job:

• Supabase — hosts our database, file storage, and authentication. Your account data, invoices, clients, and receipt images are stored on Supabase infrastructure. (supabase.com/privacy)
• Anthropic — when you scan a receipt, the photo is sent to Anthropic's API to read its contents and return structured data. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. (anthropic.com/legal/privacy)
• Payment links — if you add a payment link (e.g. Stripe or PayPal), payments are handled entirely by that processor under its own privacy policy. Levy only stores the link.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual invoices, clients, and receipts in the app at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we will process the request promptly.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted by row-level security so each user can only read and modify their own data. Receipt images are stored in a private bucket accessible only via short-lived, signed links generated for your account.

Children

Levy is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
